Placements24 is seeking an experienced Assembly Line Lead to guide the assembly team in East London-style operations. You will be responsible for coordinating daily tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards in a hands-on leadership role.

You will supervise a team of assembly line workers, drive efficiency, enforce safety protocols, and train new members.

Qualifications

Experience as Assembly Line Lead or similar supervisory role in manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of assembly processes and quality control measures.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
Commitment to safety guidelines.
Basic technical aptitude to understand production instructions.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of assembly line workers, providing guidance and support.
Ensure that all products are assembled accurately and efficiently according to specifications.
Monitor production output, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve workflow.
Train new team members on assembly procedures and safety protocols .
Maintain a clean and organized workstation and ensure adherence to housekeeping standards.
Report production data, issues, and team performance to the Production Supervisor.
