Job summary

AFIMAC Canada is actively hiring Assemblers/General Labourers for upcoming work in Southern Ontario. This position requires 12-hour shifts, 5 days per week. The role offers $25.00 per hour before overtime, with a contract duration of 1-120 days.

Hotel accommodation is provided when required, and a $30 diem is available when lodging is required. Travel up to 4 hours is possible when lodging is required. Candidates should have 1 year of manufacturing experience (preferred) and be able to lift up

• Ideal candidates are organized, able to multitask, and work efficiently in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Self-starter with minimal supervision and reliable work ethic.
• 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

You will earn:

• Ability to assemble parts & components
• Assist with loading and unlading trucks
• Pack and unpack orders
• Stock Product
• Assist with shipping and receiving

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:

• 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Ability to work 12 hour shifts
• Follow safety protocols and procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50-lbs
• Ability to load and unload product
• Daily inventory counts
• Required to maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Good organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
• High School graduate or GED equivalency.
• The position requires a self-starter and highly motivated person capable of working with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
