Job summary

MAD Elevator Inc. in Mississauga, ON, is seeking a Fixtures Assembler to assemble elevator fixtures per CAD schematics, identify components, and meet production targets.

You will lift up to 15 lbs, use hand and power tools, and ensure quality while adhering to 5S and safety protocols; prior light assembly and manufacturing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of experience in light assembly work.
• At least 1 year of Manufacturing experience (custom production).
• Demonstrated dexterity and ability to perform simple to complex assemblies in a fast-paced environment.
• Medium to highly detail-oriented.
• Experience with electrical fixtures component manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify buttons and components and interpret assembly drawings.
• Assemble products within specified period of time.
• Utilize manual and power tools efficiently.
• Inspect assemblies visually and with designated measuring devices.
• Identify non-conformances.
• Complete shop records accurately.
• Communicate with colleagues and team leader.
• Handle medium-to-heavy materials intermittently.
• Lift up to 15 lbs; may work in hot areas.
• Ensure adherence to Health and Safety and participate in 5S activities.

Our Fixtures Assembler; Responsible for the assembly of elevator fixtures including fixture components by referencing related CAD schematics.

This position is located at 6635 Ordan Drive in Mississauga, ON. Hours are typically Mondays to Thursdays from 7:00am to 4:30pm, and Fridays from 7:00am to 3:30pm.

Pay: $20.00

This is a Full-time, Hourly position.
