TYM CANADA is seeking an Assembly Technician to perform structured assembly tasks in a production environment. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and timely output, with adherence to Lean Six Sigma principles and standard work.
You will follow documented procedures, operate power tools and lifting devices, and collaborate with a team to meet daily production targets while maintaining a focus on process improvements and waste elimination.
Reporting to Operation Manager, the Assembler is responsible for performing assembly operations using various tools to meet quality requirements and customer demands. Assembly operations may include lifting, bolting, torquing, testing, and other tasks. Lead by example in areas such as safety, ethical standards, attendance, intensity, sense of urgency, team philosophy, initiative, quality assurance, standard work, 5S+, product knowledge, positive attitude, interpersonal communication skills, and professional presence.
