Job summary

Placements24 partners with a dynamic client in Kimberley, BC, seeking a skilled Public Relations Specialist to elevate the organization and its arts & entertainment clients. You will craft compelling narratives, manage media inquiries, and shape media relations strategies.

You will collaborate with a diverse team to plan campaigns, write press materials, and monitor coverage, ensuring positive publicity and strong brand reputation in the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in public relations, preferably within the Arts & Entertainment industry.
• Proven track record of successful media relations and campaign execution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong storytelling abilities.
• Proficiency in media monitoring and PR software.
• Strong networking skills and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive public relations strategies to promote clients and events.
• Write and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other PR materials.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with media contacts, journalists, and influencers.
• Monitor media coverage and analyze PR campaign effectiveness.
