Job summary

City of Belleville is seeking a Specialized Instructor, Uncertified (Art) to design and deliver engaging art lessons for the Recreation Division. The role focuses on safe, inclusive instruction and positive participant experiences at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre.

Hours are daytime, evening, and weekend with 1-5 hours per week; compensation ranges per hour and the position is temporary part-time. Applicants must meet the listed qualifications and pass CRC/VSS checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, minimum.
• Standard First Aid with CPR-C or Intermediate First Aid with CPR-C and AED.
• Previous instructing experience in the related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Represent the City of Belleville in a professional manner.
• Ensure safety and supervision of participants.
• Plan, implement, and lead the designated program delivering a fun and safe experience.
• Provide program adaptations as needed to meet participants' needs.
• Maintain attendance records and required paperwork.
