Are you a passionate AI Product Owner with Software Development experience ready to support the leading edge of scientific and healthcare advancements in the Federal Government today?

ECS is seeking ARPA-H Software Development and AI Product Owner to work remotely. In this role, you will serve as a scientific and technical advisor to ARPA-H, helping manage and oversee advanced R&D efforts, shape future R&D concepts, and integrate and advance healthcare ecosystem processes, policies, and technologies.

You will provide support and thought leadership to R&D teams, Government Program Managers, and stakeholders across the health innovation ecosystem, supporting the Office of Information Technology and Data Innovation (ITDI).

What You Will Do
  • Act as Strategic Product Leadership: Lead the development and evolution of AI-driven software products by defining and refining product vision, strategy, and roadmaps aligned with ARPA-H goals. Translate complex needs into actionable strategies, identify personas and requirements, and prioritize epics, user stories, and tasks. Facilitate collaboration between teams and stakeholders.
  • Manage The Product Lifecycle: Define product vision, roadmap, and specifications for operational tools in an Agile environment. Take ownership of AI solutions from ideation to deployment and iteration. Advise stakeholders on scheduling, conduct product assurance reviews, and manage platforms like SharePoint.
  • Stay Current With Scientific Advancements: Track and analyze new research, propose emerging methodologies, and participate in scientific discussions and presentations.
  • Collaborate Effectively Within a Diverse Team: Build relationships with scientists and engineers, communicate complex concepts clearly, and participate in brainstorming and problem-solving exercises.
Salary Range

$100,000 - $180,000

Required Skills
  • Master's in computer science or related scientific field.
  • Minimum 10 years of AI and software development experience.
  • Ability to conduct research, analyze data, and write scientific reports.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Strong work ethic and passion for healthcare and scientific discovery.
  • U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency.
Desired Skills
  • Experience within a Federal ARPA organization (3+ years).
  • Experience supporting Federal Healthcare or Scientific R&D programs (2+ years).
