Job summary

Aramark Sports + Entertainment is seeking a Concessions Manager for Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia. You will oversee concessions operations on the concourse, manage a supervisor team, and ensure staff are trained and scheduled to deliver excellent fan experiences.

You will monitor food and beverage service, ensure compliance with alcohol regulations, and control inventory and costs while partnering with stakeholders to optimize performance during all arena events.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of related experience in management or supervisor role.
• Proven experience in special events or high-volume food and beverage within hospitality, particularly bar/beverage.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative team dynamic.
• Food Handlers and Alcohol Service Certifications as required.
• Occasional lifting and standing for extended periods (up to 50 lbs).

• Train and supervise staff; recognize and reward performance.
• Oversee event scheduling and labor management via ReadyOn.
• Manage payroll through Kronos.
• Maintain up-to-date staff certifications and records.
• Lead health and safety initiatives and compliance.
• Drive efficient operations, cost controls and profitability.
• Adapt operations to client needs and events.
• Meet client and company financial targets.
• Implement Aramark processes and monitor performance metrics.
• Supervise production, quality, and control.
