Jayman BUILT in Edmonton, AB is seeking an Area Warranty Superintendent to manage on-site warranty work, coordinate trade days, and ensure timely completion of service requests.

The role requires a Red Seal certification in building trades, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work a rotating 24-hour on-call schedule. You will lead with professionalism, maintain strong customer experience, and contribute to Jayman’s reputation as a Best Managed Company.

Qualifications

• Red Seal certification in building trades required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean abstract.
• Experience in construction or warranty preferred.
• Must be able to use personal tools for on-site work.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments with Jayman customers.
• Coordinate and attend trade days at customer homes to complete work.
• Lead with professional appearance and behavior on-site.
• Sign off on 2-month and 11-month service requests.
• Handle impromptu or emergency calls with strong organization.
• Follow Jayman processes to ensure Customer Experience excellence.
• Service and maintain Jayman Sales Centres and Showhomes.
• Perform a variety of hands-on repairs in customer homes.
• Maintain team environment through high-quality communication.

A Day in the Life of a Area Warranty Superintendent

• Schedule appointments with Jayman customers
• Coordinate and attend various trade days, in customer homes, to complete work as required
• Lead with pride in both appearance & behaviour while on-site
• Responsible for signing off both 2-month & 11-month service requests
• Strong organizational skills with handling various impromptu or emergency calls
• Follow Jayman's processes & procedures to ensure Customer Experience excellence
• Service and maintain Jayman Sales Centres and Showhomes
• Perform a variety of hands-on repairs in customer homes
• Maintain a team environment through high-quality communication with customers, trades and Jayman team members

What you will bring to the table:

• Strong home maintenance abilities
• Red Seal certification in building trades (e.g., carpentry, drywall, finishing, etc.) required.
• Ability to use your own tools to complete required work.
• Strong ability to be proactive and adapt to continually shifting priorities.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong sense of urgency and an ability to meet various deadlines.
• Well-developed communication skills.
• Exceptional customer experience skills.
• 5 years of experience in the construction and/or warranty field with a general understanding of ANHWP is considered an asset.
• Valid Driver’s license and clean abstract required.
• Available to work on a rotating 24 hour on-call schedule
