Job summary

Amazon Canada Fulfillment Services, ULC in New Westminster, BC seeks an Area Manager to lead a large hourly team, ensuring safety, quality, attendance, and performance while meeting delivery promises.

You will collaborate with Safety, Engineering, HR, and other teams to develop plans, manage operations across the three workflow stages, and support site growth across new fulfillment centers. Strong leadership and flexibility required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in environments with variable temperatures and noise; outdoor loading areas and stairs.
