Job summary

The Career Foundation seeks an experienced Area Manager, Employment and Placement Services for its Scarborough IES Centre. You will oversee site operations, service delivery, and a 10+ person team to achieve client outcomes and funder compliance.

You will lead coaching, performance management, and stakeholder engagement, driving client-centered employment solutions while leveraging data and digital tools for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of direct management experience in Employment Services or a related field.
• Experience with Employment Ontario IES pay-for-performance model is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of program delivery, coaching, case management, and employer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Takes ownership of all aspects of the site's performance including daily client service delivery and KPIs.
• Monitors client records and reporting for funder compliance and quality assurance.
• Ensures all team deliverables, targets, and budget claims meet requirements.
• Develops corrective action plans with the Senior Manager when gaps are identified.
• Oversees budget expenditures for supports and incentives and maintains documentation.
• Prepares and submits Better Jobs Ontario applications with quality controls.
• Handles stakeholder feedback with exceptional service and maintains records.
• Performs other relevant duties as needed.
