Job summary

Wilsonart Canada is seeking a Specification Representative to drive commercial growth by securing and managing specifications for Wilsonart products. You will advise the design community and influence material selection from concept to completion, with success measured by adoption and project conversion.

You will build strategic relationships with architects and designers, provide product guidance, and track opportunities using CRM, while traveling within the assigned territory to grow market

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
• Experience in sales, specification development, architecture, interior design, construction, building products, or related industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with architects, designers, specification writers, and facility planners within the territory.
• Drive specification adoption and ensure conversion through collaboration with sales, distribution, and fabrication partners.
• Provide expert product, design, and application guidance tailored to project requirements.
• Track project opportunities and specification-to-sale conversion using CRM.
• Execute merchandising and display updates to maintain brand consistency.
• Represent Wilsonart at industry associations and professional events.
• Deliver presentations and product training to design firms and influencers.
• Provide feedback on surface needs of the design community.
• Use CRM for account data, sales call itineraries, activity, and project tracking.
