Job Title: Architectural Designer

Job Description

Join our team as an Architectural Designer to support the design team in the detailed design phase of the MBF 345 project. This involves designing and adapting modular building facilities for three correctional sites, based on a successful past project. You will work closely with the team to create construction documents using Revit, emphasizing collaboration and leveraging your extensive architectural experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the design team during the detailed design phase using advanced Revit skills.
• Collaborate closely with team members to adapt and refine designs for three correctional facilities.
• Develop detailed construction documents to be issued in late November.
• Leverage past experience in public buildings and justice projects to contribute to project success.
• Ensure follow-through into construction documents with detailed design experience.

Essential Skills

• Proficient with Revit with no learning curve (10+ years of experience).
• Over 10 years of experience in Architectural Design.
• Experience with public buildings, some commercial and justice projects.
• Detailing experience, essential for construction document development.
• Experience with construction projects valued between $20 million to $100 million.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with modular buildings, particularly pre-fabricated buildings.
• Public building experience is advantageous.

Work Environment

Work 40 hours per week in a 100% remote setting. Collaborate with a dynamic team consisting of a principal, design lead, tenured architect, and intermediate team members across North America.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $48.00/hr.
