Job summary

Cornerstone Builders Ltd is a design-build construction firm with over 50 years of expertise in Ontario and across Canada, seeking an Architectural Designer for a full-time, in-person role.

The position involves designing, coordinating with engineers and architects, preparing drawings and renderings, ensuring code compliance, and supporting project teams from feasibility to closeout. Travel provincially and nationally may be required.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in architectural design or related field.
• Diploma/degree in Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, or Construction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design drawings, construction drawings and documentation.
• Create concept drawings and renderings for sales support.
• Ensure designs comply with Ontario codes and standards.
• Lead the design process from feasibility to construction phase.
• Coordinate with engineers, designers and the construction team.
• Attend project sites and client/consultant meetings.
• Complete closeout documentation and manuals.
