About the Role

The Design Manager will develop and execute marketing strategies to increase brand recognition and sales. This individual will focus on developing and expanding partnerships with architect and design firms specializing in residential, professional and multi-residential projects. They will lead impactful sales initiatives, marketing campaigns, and engagement events, inspiring industry professionals and fostering meaningful connections to drive exceptional sales growth.

What You Will Do

Essential Functions

  • Active interaction with A&D firms, provide on-demand responses to meet their high pace demands
  • Deliver engaging presentations to professionals within architectural and design firms, and developers
  • Provide specialist support in product training, installation applications, and education of new and existing products and services
  • Organize and drive partner engagement with multiple event types, internal and external
  • Drives prospect lead generation to support all Miele business channels (retail, multi-residential and professional)
  • Results-driven approach to new business development & maintaining existing valued relationships
  • Develop tailored product proposals and manage quote generation
  • Track leads, quotes, and conversion rates to monitor performance metrics.
  • Supports and implements marketing plans, promotions and new product launches
  • Offer comprehensive after-sales support to ensure client satisfaction
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Five (5) years’ experience in outside sales of luxury brand preferred
  • Experience or insight with interior design or kitchen design is ideal
  • High School or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proven history of increasing sales and revenue
  • Ability to develop sales strategies and use performance KPIs
  • Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with CRM is a plus
  • Organizational and leadership ability
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as demonstrated presentation and problem resolution skills
  • Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule, evenings, occasional weekends.
  • Most travel is by car, although some air travel may be required
  • Valid Driver’s License
