Job summary

ARCHITECTURE PANEL Inc. is seeking an architect with 2–3 years of experience to manage on-site construction projects in British Columbia. You will develop plans, coordinate with contractors, and oversee drawings and specifications to ensure projects meet design intent and budgeting targets.

The role requires a Master’s degree in architecture or related field and hands-on experience with client consultations, feasibility analyses, and contract negotiations, all while working on-site in BC.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in architecture or related field.
• 2–3 years of professional experience required.
• On-site work in British Columbia, Canada; no remote option.

Responsibilities

• Award construction contracts to building contractors
• Consult with clients to determine the type, style and purpose of renovations or new building construction being considered
• Generate building plans and detailed drawings to be used by contractors and tradespersons
• Participate in contract negotiations
• Prepare documents showing both the structural needs and the materials required for construction
• Supervise the preparation of drawings, specifications and other construction documents for use by contractors and tradespersons
• Conceptualize and design buildings and develop plans describing design specifications, building materials, costs and construction schedules
• Prepare sketches and models
• Conduct feasibility studies of building projects
• Monitor activities on construction sites to ensure compliance with specifications
• Conduct feasibility studies and financial analyses of building projects
