Facade Today seeks a qualified professional to manage on-site architectural planning and construction coordination in British Columbia. The role involves consulting with clients, preparing building plans, and supervising the production of drawings and documents for contractors and tradespersons.

The candidate will participate in contract negotiations, assess feasibility, and monitor site activities to ensure compliance with specifications and schedules.

Qualifications

• Master's degree is required.
• 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in construction or architectural planning.

• Award construction contracts to building contractors.
• Consult with clients to determine the type, style and purpose of renovations or new building construction.
• Generate building plans and detailed drawings to be used by contractors and tradespersons.
• Participate in contract negotiations.
• Prepare documents showing both the structural needs and the materials required for construction.
• Supervise the preparation of drawings, specifications and other construction documents for use by contractors and tradespersons.
• Conceptualize and design buildings and develop plans describing design specifications, building materials, costs and construction schedules.
• Prepare sketches and models.
• Conduct feasibility studies of building projects.
• Monitor activities on construction sites to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Conduct feasibility studies and financial analyses of building projects.
