Your impact
As an Archaeological Field Technician, you will provide technical support on various projects throughout British Columbia. This position involves providing cultural resources support for environmental planning and permitting efforts of privately-owned infrastructure projects. You will work under the guidance of senior cultural resources staff, providing field support, while fostering a culture of continuous learning. In addition to field support, you may assist in regulatory applications and development of technical reports to comply with industry standards. The position will start mid-April, with an anticipated 90% of fieldwork and 10% office work. A successful offer will be a 6 to 12-month contract, with the opportunity to extend the contract or convert to full time, depending on workload.

The base salary range for this position is $66,000.00 to $99,770.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across British Columbia, Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
