Job summary

MNP Community & Sport Centre is seeking an Aquatic Operations Coordinator to lead lifeguard teams and ensure safety and legendary service. The role focuses on planning day-to-day guarding, staff scheduling, and maintaining certification and equipment records.

This on-site position requires strong leadership, customer engagement, and the ability to coordinate with the Aquatic Programs & Operations Manager. The organization values safety, service, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a coordinator role supervising a team of 12+ people.
• Current CPR Level C and Standard First Aid certifications required.
• National Lifeguard certification and Swim & Lifesaving Instructor certification preferred.
• Pool Operator Level 1 is an asset.
• Maintain fitness level to perform lifeguarding duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Aquatic Programs & Operations Manager with staff scheduling and shift coverage.
• Maintain a database for certifications, performance, and maintenance records.
• Assist with biweekly payroll processing and inventory tracking.
• Prepare activity reports including daily stats and customer surveys.
• Provide on-deck leadership for lifeguard teams up to 16 members.
