Job summary

Taleo in Richmond, BC is seeking an experienced maintenance technician for combined operational and building maintenance of aquatic facilities. You will repair, maintain and operate pool systems, heating, filtration, chemical injection, and building automation where applicable.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, inspections, coordinating external contractors, and ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent with related courses and Pool Operator certification.
• Minimum one year of pool maintenance or repair experience.
• Pool Operator Certificate Level 1 and 2 are required.
• Valid BC Class 5 driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and rebuild mechanical and physical plant systems and leisure features.
• Operate, troubleshoot, program and repair building automation systems and sensors.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on pool systems, plumbing, heating and sanitization.
• Assist with organizing projects and coordinating external contractors.
• Ensure safe operation and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Schedule inspections and monitor quality to meet service standards.
