Job summary

This entry-level role focuses on general vehicle maintenance, assists senior technicians, and offers hands-on training in a dealership setting. A valid Ontario driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Strong product knowledge.
• Strong aptitude of technical/mechanical repairs.
• Good time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Technician experience an asset.
• General Service Department experience an asset.
• General Dealership experience.
• Valid Ontario Driver's License with 3+ years driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform general vehicle maintenance and minor repairs
• Assist the Automotive Service Technician, as necessary
• Examine the vehicle assigned to determine if additional maintenance or safety work is required or recommended
• Road test vehicles, as required
• Restock the supplies in the Service Department
• Tag replaced parts for warranty or customer requests
• Keep up-to-date on manufacturer technical bulletins
