Job summary

The Dilawri Group of Companies is actively seeking an Apprentice Technician to join the Oakville Honda service team. You will perform general vehicle maintenance, assist the service technician, and help ensure safety and quality in every inspection.

This entry-level position offers hands-on training, opportunities to advance within Canada's largest automotive group, and a supportive environment with coaching, wellness programs, and a vehicle purchase program.

Qualifications

• Strong product knowledge
• Strong aptitude of technical/mechanical repairs
• Strong attention to detail
• Technician experience an asset
• General Service Department experience an asset
• Valid Ontario Driver's License with 3+ years driving experience

Responsibilities

• Perform general vehicle maintenance and minor repairs
• Assist the Automotive Service Technician, as necessary
• Examine the vehicle assigned to determine if additional maintenance or safety work is required or recommended
• Road test vehicles, as required
• Restock the supplies in the Service Department
• Tag replaced parts for warranty or customer requests
• Keep up-to-date on manufacturer technical bulletins
