Full Time Automotive Apprentice Technician

Job Summary :

The Apprentice assists technicians and performs minor maintenance and tire work. Focused on learning, teamwork, and maintaining an organized Service Department.

Primary Roles & Responsibilities :

• Understanding basic automotive systems and explaining repairs;
• Communicating with Service Consultants and Parts Department;
• Following established procedures for service and repairs;
• Documenting repairs accurately;
• Attending technical training and reviewing manuals and bulletins;
• Ensuring quality control and inspections;
• Proactively identifying repair needs;
• Conducting routine vehicle services and repairs;
• Detailing work performed and parts used;
• Recording work orders and vehicle problems;
• Promoting teamwork across departments;
• Managing time and workflow independently.

Qualifications :

• Valid Driver's License and good driving record;
• Willingness to learn diagnostic procedures and wiring diagrams;
• Basic computer skills;
• Ability to use service shop equipment;
• Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills;
• Ability to work independently.

Compensation ranges from $21-30/hour, depending on apprentice level completed.
