Job summary

¶ Dilawri Group of Companies is now actively searching for an Apprentice Technician to join the team at INEOS Grenadier in Ontario. Apprentices at all levels are welcome to apply, with starting pay from $20.00 per hour based on apprenticeship level and experience.

¶ Responsibilities include general maintenance, diagnostics assistance, inspections, and ensuring work to manufacturer and dealership standards, with a focus on safety and quality. Benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Registered apprentice with Skilled Trades Ontario at any apprenticeship level.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and an interest in automotive diagnostics and repairs.
• Previous automotive service or dealership experience is considered an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Effective time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing technical training.
• Valid Ontario G Class driver’s licence and a clean driver’s abstract.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Perform general vehicle maintenance and minor repairs under the guidance of a Licensed Automotive Service Technician.
• Assist Licensed Automotive Service Technicians with vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs.
• Inspect assigned vehicles to determine whether additional maintenance or safety work is required or recommended.
• Complete repairs accurately and in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standards.
• Road-test vehicles, as required.
• Tag and organize replaced parts for warranty or customer requests.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Restock supplies within the Service Department, as required.
• Stay current on manufacturer technical bulletins, training, and repair procedures.
• Follow all dealership health and safety policies and procedures.
