Wonder Auto & Tire in Fredericton, NB is offering an Automotive Apprentice Technician role within Shift Auto Group. You will learn hands-on from licensed technicians, participate in routine maintenance, tire services, and repairs, and document work clearly as you progress through apprenticeship blocks.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Automotive Service Technician apprenticeship program
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Basic computer and diagnostic skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine vehicle maintenance, tire services, and mechanical repairs
• Work alongside licensed technicians to develop diagnostic and repair skills
• Follow service manuals, technical information, and manufacturer procedures
• Attend training and stay current with automotive technology and repair procedures
• Clearly document repairs and concerns on work orders
• Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and the Parts Team
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Follow all shop safety procedures and best practices
• Contribute to an efficient, professional, and team-focused shop environment

What You'll Do

As an Automotive Apprentice Technician , you'll work alongside experienced technicians while developing your skills and progressing through your apprenticeship blocks.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist with routine vehicle maintenance, tire services, and mechanical repairs

What We're Looking For

We offer a competitive salary range of $17-$22 per hour , based on your current level of apprenticeship training.
