Job summary

The Municipal Group of Companies is seeking an Automotive Service Technician based in Moncton, NB. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs, and ensure systems meet manufacturer specifications, while maintaining a safe workspace.

• Interprovincial Red Seal AST Certificate or Registered Apprentice.
• High attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and malfunctions within automotive systems and confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace parts and/or components.
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems.
• Test repaired systems to ensure performance within manufacturer's specifications.
• Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
• Perform scheduled maintenance activities.
• Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Municipal Group of Companies’ Equipment and Maintenance Team oversees the maintenance, compliance, and operational integrity of one of Eastern Canada’s most diverse equipment fleets. Through a network of more than 25 maintenance shops, our teams deliver standardized service processes, asset management support, and technical expertise across all operating divisions. Our work is executed by qualified trades professionals and supported by formalized training, certification, and career development systems. We are currently seeking an Automotive Service Technician, based out of Moncton, to join our team.
