Job summary

Armour Transportation Systems in Moncton, NB is hiring a Reefer Technician to service and repair refrigerated trailers. You will work in a busy shop, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with opportunities to troubleshoot Carrier reefers and perform preventative maintenance.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience in transport refrigeration, independence in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to document work and bill for parts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years experience in transport and refrigeration.
• Background working on Carrier Reefers an asset.
• Ability to work independently in a busy shop environment.
• Able to troubleshoot, diagnose trailer refrigeration units.
• Performs preventative and scheduled maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to manufacturers’ specs.
• Write explanations of work performed.
• Charge out all parts used for the specific task.
• Knowledge of Heavy Truck Garage safety principles and behaviors.
