Job summary

PTW Energy Services is hiring local 2nd/3rd/4th Year Instrumentation Apprentices to join our team in Peace River, AB. This local opportunity supports apprenticeship programs with safety training and basic PPE provided.

Candidates must be within commuting distance or willing to relocate and must have valid safety tickets and be authorized to work in Canada. Opportunity to grow within the company with a focus on construction and maintenance instrumentation.

Qualifications

• Must possess construction and maintenance instrumentation experience.
• Indentured Instrumentation Apprentice or Journeyperson.
• Strong initiative, able to work independently or in a team.
• Excellent communication and safety record.
• Must hold CSO, First Aid, Fall Protection and H2S Alive.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license; authorized to work in Canada.

Job Details

• Shift:Various shift schedules available
• Working Hours:Opportunity to work 8 to 12 hours per day based on workload requirements
• Overtime:Overtime opportunities may be available on an occasional basis
• Travel Pay:Travel expenses are not covered for this local position. Candidates must be located within commuting distance or be willing to relocate to the area
• Apprentices:Support provided for apprenticeship programs and completion of required hours

Requirements

• Must possess construction and maintenance instrumentation experience.
• Must be an indentured Instrumentation Apprentice or a certified Journeyperson.
• Must be able to take initiative, work independently as well as in a team.
• Must be reliable and dependable (i.e.: punctual and ready to work).
• Excellent communication skills.
• A demonstrated ability to work safely.
• Must have valid safety tickets (CSO, Standard First Aid, ESC Fall Protection and H2S Alive)
• A valid Class 5 driver's license is required.
• Must be authorized to work in Canada.
• Must be local to the area or within commuting distance, or willing to relocate
