Job summary

PTW Energy Services is hiring local 2nd/3rd/4th Year Electrical Apprentices to join our team in Peace River, AB. This local role offers various shift schedules and hours ranging from 8 to 12 per day depending on workload.

Travel expenses are not covered for this local position, and relocation may be required for relocation to the area. We value safety and provide support for apprenticeship programs, with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must possess construction and maintenance electrical experience.
• Must be an indentured electrical Apprentice or a certified Journeyperson.
• Must be able to take initiative, work independently as well as in a team.
• Must be reliable and dependable (i.e.: punctual and ready to work).
• Excellent communication skills.

Job Details

• Shift: Various shift schedules available
• Working Hours: Opportunity to work 8 to 12 hours per day based on workload requirements
• Overtime: Overtime opportunities may be available on an occasional basis
• Travel Pay: Travel expenses are not covered for this local position. Candidates must be located within commuting distance or be willing to relocate to the area
• Apprentices: Support provided for apprenticeship programs and completion of required hours

Requirements

• Must possess construction and maintenance electrical experience.
• Must be an indentured electrical Apprentice or a certified Journeyperson.
• Must be able to take initiative, work independently as well as in a team.
• Must be reliable and dependable (i.e.: punctual and ready to work).
• Excellent communication skills.
• A demonstrated ability to work safely.
• Must have valid safety tickets (CSO, Standard First Aid, ESC Fall Protection and H2S Alive)
• A valid Class 5 driver's license is required.
• Must be authorized to work in Canada.
• Must be local to the area or within commuting distance, or willing to relocate
