PTW Energy Services in Whitecourt, AB is hiring local Apprentices instrumentation to join our team on industrial projects. This role supports installation, maintenance, and calibration of instrumentation systems with hands-on experience while progressing through your apprenticeship.

Ideal candidates are motivated apprentices who can work safely, follow direction, and collaborate effectively in a team environment, with opportunities for advancement and tuition support.

Qualifications

• Must be an indentured Instrumentation Apprentice (2nd, 3rd, or 4th year).
• Valid safety tickets: CSO, Standard First Aid, TDG, WHMIS, ESC Fall Protection, and H2S Alive.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to follow safe work practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and ready to work.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must be authorized to work in Canada.
• Must be local to Whitecourt or within commuting distance, or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of instrumentation systems on industrial and commercial projects
• Support journeymanand senior tradespeople with day-to-day field tasks
• Follow safety procedures and maintain strong compliance with site requirements
• Participate in troubleshooting and basic diagnostics under supervision
• Work collaboratively with crew members to complete assigned tasks efficiently
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition
