Job summary

PTW Energy Services is hiring local 3rd/4th Year Instrumentation Apprentices to join our team in Grande Prairie, AB. The position offers varied shifts and the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in instrumentation within a strong safety culture.

As part of the program, you will receive support for apprenticeship hours and opportunities for advancement. Candidates must be local or within commuting distance and be willing to relocate if necessary.

Qualifications

• Must have construction and maintenance instrumentation experience.
• Indebted Instrumentation Apprentice or certified Journeyperson status.
• Able to work independently and in a team while maintaining safety.

Responsibilities

• Support apprenticeship hours completion and related training.
• Contribute to daily instrumentation maintenance tasks as directed.
• Communicate effectively and work safely on site.

Job Details

• Shift:Various shift schedules available
• Working Hours:Opportunityto work 8 to 12 hours per day based on workload requirements
• Overtime:Overtime opportunities may be available on an occasional basis
• Travel Pay:Travel expenses are not covered for this local position. Candidates must be located within commuting distance or be willing to relocate to the area
• Apprentices: Support provided for apprenticeship programs and completion of required hours

Requirements

• Must possess construction and maintenanceinstrumentation experience.
• Must be an indentured Instrumentation Apprentice or a certified Journeyperson.
• Must be able to take initiative, work independently as well as in a team.
• Must be reliable and dependable (i.e.: punctual and ready to work).
• Excellent communication skills.
• A demonstrated ability to work safely.
• Must have valid safety tickets (CSO, Standard First Aid, ESC Fall Protection and H2S Alive)
• A valid Class 5 driver's license is required.
• Must be authorized to work in Canada.
• Must be local to the area or within commuting distance, or willing to relocate
