Duties

• Assist with preparation of surfaces for flooring installation, including measuring, cutting and leveling surfaces
• Learning to mix and apply adhesives and other materials required for installation
• Work with experienced floor covering mechanics to lay and cut floor coverings in accordance with specifications
• Learn to use tools and equipment required for installation
• Assist with clean-up and removal of debris after the flooring installation is complete
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
