PTW Energy Services is seeking a Local Apprentice Electrician in Lloydminster. You will support Journeyman Electricians, read electrical drawings, and work with motors, PLCs, and control circuits while following safety rules and the Canadian Electrical Code.

Qualifications

• Indentured electrical apprentice in an industrial or commercial setting.
• Familiar with Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) requirements.
• Valid safety certifications (H2S Alive, Fall Protection, First Aid, CSTS 2020).
• Ability to read drawings and electrical schemes.

Responsibilities

• Assist Journeyman Electricians with installation, maintenance, and repairs.
• Interpret drawings, schematics, and electrical codes.
• Install and service motors, PLCs, control circuits, conduit, wiring, and panels.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform preventive maintenance.
• Support three-phase systems and motor terminations.
• Comply with CEC, company procedures and OHS standards.

Role Summary

We are seeking a LocalApprentice Electrician to join our team in Lloydminster. The Apprentice is a 1st4th year Electrical Apprentice with relevant industrial or commercial experience who is committed to delivering safe, high-quality work that meets client needs. This role requires strong attention to detail, a customer-service mindset, and a focus on safety, and exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Journeyman Electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial electrical systems
• Interpret drawings, schematics, and electrical codes
• Install and service motors, PLCs, control circuits, conduit, wiring, and panels
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform preventive maintenance
• Support three-phase systems and motor terminations
• Follow Canadian Electrical Code (CEC), company procedures, and OHS safety standards
• Other duties as required

Qualifications / Requirements

• Indentured 1st4th year Electrical Apprentice with provincial regulatory body
• Familiar with the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC)
• Valid H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED), and CSTS 2020
• Able to read electrical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs
• Strong safety focus and good communication skills
• Team player able to work with maintenance and production teams
• Flexible availability for shift work, overtime, and weekends, with a strong focus on safety and self-direction
• Valid driver's licence
• Ability to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions.
