Job summary

PTW Energy Services in Lloydminster is seeking a Local Apprentice Electrician (1st–4th year) to join our team. You will assist Journeyman Electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial electrical systems, while learning to interpret drawings and codes.

You will read schematics, work with PLCs and control circuits, and adhere to safety standards. The role requires flexibility for shift work and overtime, with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Inducted 1st-4th year electrical apprentice with provincial regulatory body.
• Familiar with CEC (Canadian Electrical Code).
• Valid safety certifications: H2S Alive, Fall Protection, First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED), CSTS 2020.
• Able to read electrical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.
• Strong safety focus and good communication skills.
• Team player able to work with maintenance and production teams.
• Flexible availability for shift work, overtime, and weekends.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Able to work in heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist Journeyman Electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial electrical systems.
• Interpret drawings, schematics, and electrical codes.
• Install and service motors, PLCs, control circuits, conduit, wiring, and panels.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform preventive maintenance.
• Support three-phase systems and motor terminations.

Role Summary:

We are seeking a LocalApprentice Electrician to join our team in Lloydminster. The Apprentice is a 1st-4th year Electrical Apprentice with relevant industrial or commercial experience who is committed to delivering safe, high-quality work that meets client needs. This role requires strong attention to detail, a customer-service mindset, and a focus on safety, and exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Journeyman Electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial electrical systems

• Competitive hourly wage, commensurate with experience and certification
