Responsibilities

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop your skills as an apprentice, with the support of other experienced AMEs;
• Ensure that all aircraft documents are properly completed;
• Ensure that each component installed on the aircraft is certified;
• Perform the tasks and responsibilities described in the Maintenance Service Control Manual and ensure familiarization and compliance with Transport Canada standard regulations;
• Participate in training courses as assigned by management;
• Respect the SMS policy ("Safety Management System");
• Maintain and ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times;
• Assist in all other related tasks as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Working towards becoming a licensed technician;
• Previous experience in a related position as an apprentice is an asset;
• Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure;
• Detail-oriented;
• Positive attitude;
• Good team spirit;
• Good communication skills.

EDUCATION:

• Being in the process of completing a recognized program in aircraft maintenance technology, or the equivalent, is a requirement.
