Skyservice Business Aviation is seeking an apprentice Aircraft Maintenance Technician in Dorval. You will perform and ensure proper completion of maintenance activities on Sky Service FBO aircrafts with guidance from experienced AMEs.

Responsibilities include documentation, certification of installed components, and compliance with Transport Canada standards. Opportunities for training, relocation support, and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an aircraft maintenance program or equivalent is the minimum requirement.
• Apprentice-related experience is an asset.
• Must be able to work under pressure and stay organized.
• Must be attentive to detail and have a positive attitude.
• Team oriented with strong communication skills.

• Developing your skills as an apprentice by performing and ensuring proper completion of all maintenance activities related to Sky Service FBO Aircrafts, with the support of experienced AMEs.
• Ensure aircraft documentation is complete and accurate.
• Ensure that all components installed on aircrafts are properly certified.
• Carry out duties per the maintenance control manual and Transport Canada standards.
• Attend training courses as directed by management and adhere to Safety Management System policies.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and assist in related duties as assigned.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Developing your skills as an apprentice by performing and ensuring proper completion of all maintenance activities related to Sky Service FBO Aircrafts, with the support of experienced AMEs;
• Ensure aircraft documentation is complete and accurate;
• Ensure that all components installed on aircrafts are properly certified;
• Carry out duties as per the appropriate maintenance control manual and ensure familiarity and conformity to Transport Canada regulatory standards;
• Attend training courses as directed by company management;
• Adhere to the Safety Management System Policy;
• Maintain and ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times;
• Assist in all other related duties, as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Working towards becoming an “M2” licensed Technician;
• Previous apprentice related experience is an asset;
• Ability to work under pressure and to demonstrate strong organizational skills;
• Must be attentive to detail;
• Positive attitude;
• Team oriented;
• Good communication skills.

EDUCATION:

• In the process of finalizing a recognized aircraft maintenance program, or equivalent, is minimum requirement.
