Job summary

Skyservice Business Aviation Inc. is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Technician to perform and supervise maintenance on commercial aircraft. You will ensure documentation is complete and all installed components are properly certified, in compliance with Transport Canada standards.

The role requires a valid M2 license and at least five years of hands-on maintenance experience, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Must hold valid Transport Canada M2 license.
  • Minimum of five years of previous maintenance experience.
  • Completed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Technician program or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and ensure proper completion of maintenance on commercial aircraft in hangar and on ramp.
  • Ensure aircraft documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Verify that all components installed are properly certified.
  • Follow maintenance control manual and Transport Canada standards.
  • Attend training courses as directed by management.
  • Adhere to Safety Management System policy.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
  • Undertake other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform and ensure proper completion of all maintenance activities related to commercial aircraft, both in the hangar and on the ramp;
  • Ensure aircraft documentation is complete and accurate;
  • Ensure that all components installed on aircrafts are properly certified;
  • Carry out duties as per the appropriate maintenance control manual and ensure conformity to Transport Canada regulatory standards;
  • Attend training courses as directed by company management;
  • Adhere to the Safety Management System Policy;
  • Maintain and ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times;
  • All other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Valid Transport Canada M2 license;
  • Minimum of five (5) years previous experience;
  • Experience on Business Aircraft is an asset;
  • Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate strong organizational skills;
  • Must be attentive to detail;
  • Positive attitude;
  • Team oriented;
  • Good communication skills.
EDUCATION
  • Completed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Technician program or equivalent.
