Job summary

Skyservice Business Aviation in Ontario is offering an apprenticeship track for aspiring maintenance technicians. You will work under experienced AMEs to perform and complete maintenance activities on Sky Service FBO aircraft, while ensuring documentation is complete and components are properly certified.

Ideal candidates are pursuing an M2 license, with any apprentice experience considered an asset. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and collaborative teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an M2 licensed technician path.
• Previous apprentice experience is an asset.
• Strong organization and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Develop skills by performing maintenance activities with AME support.
• Ensure aircraft documentation is complete and accurate.
• Verify components installed are properly certified.
• Follow TC regulatory standards and maintenance control manuals.
• Attend training courses as directed by management.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment.
• Assist with related duties as assigned.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Developing your skills as an apprentice by performing and ensuring proper completion of all maintenance activities related to Sky Service FBO Aircrafts, with the support of experienced AMEs;
• Ensure aircraft documentation is complete and accurate;
• Ensure that all components installed on aircrafts are properly certified;
• Carry out duties as per the appropriate maintenance control manual and ensure familiarity and conformity to Transport Canada regulatory standards;
• Attend training courses as directed by company management;
• Adhere to the Safety Management System Policy;
• Maintain and ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times;
• Assist in all other related duties, as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Working towards becoming an “M2” licensed Technician;
• Previous apprentice related experience is an asset;
• Ability to work under pressure and to demonstrate strong organizational skills;
• Must be attentive to detail;
• Positive attitude;
• Team oriented;
• Good communication skills.

EDUCATION:

• In the process of finalizing a recognized aircraft maintenance program, or equivalent, is minimum requirement.
