Job summary

SJC (St. Joseph Communications) is hiring an Applied AI Engineer (GTM) to own the AI layer across GTM workflows. You’ll build agentic tools and AI-native systems integrated with CRM, designed to increase win rates, rep effectiveness, and deal size.

You’ll work with revenue teams to reduce manual processes and improve operations. You will operate within the CoE Data function to ensure robust, trusted data sources and produce production-ready AI solutions that scale across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering or applied AI / GTM automations experience, with a track record of shipping production systems end-to-end.
• Proficient in Python or similar; you write code that team members can read and maintain.
• Hands-on experience building with LLM APIs, frameworks and orchestration tools (LangChain, LangGraph or similar).
• Comfortable with agentic system design and choosing between single LLM calls vs. multi-agent pipelines.
• Working fluency in GTM/sales workflows and automation of revenue-generating processes.
• Background in fast-moving environments — media, advertising, tech, or startups, with a bias toward shipping.

Responsibilities

• Discover & scope: Embed into Sales, Marketing and related functions to identify high-value agentic opportunities and define requirements.
• Build & ship: Design and deploy internal tools, AI-native systems and production-grade AI agents connected to CRM across prospecting, lead scoring, proposals, pipeline, and retention.
• Architect well: Evaluate tools and platforms for use cases within budget and ensure reliable, secure, auditable agent systems.
• Learn & document: Track fast-changing AI landscape and record what works and why for the GTM teams.
• Measure & collaborate: Monitor pipeline impact of deployed solutions and present findings to revenue leadership.
