Our Ideal Candidate

Allnorth is seeking a RFO Central – Application Specialist to join our team either in Calgary or Edmonton. RFO Central is a web application designed to maintain data integrity throughout the project life-cycle by documenting and progressing project completions and turnover. The RFO Central software application is used in industries including Oil & Gas, Mining, Petrochemical, Commercial Construction, and others. In this position, you will become an expert in the implementation of the software for our customers and contractors alike.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or relevant trade certificate (instrumentation, power engineering, electrical, millwright).
• 5+ years of field experience in an industrial setting.

A Day in the Life

• Work with clients – willingness to do presentations, demos, and training.
• Build relationships with clients – participate in business development initiatives.
• Manage time effectively.
• Respond to emergencies, including after-hours calls if required.
• Provide on-site support as determined by the project and client needs.
• This is a full-time, permanent position, which may require work outside regular hours.
• Location: Primary in Calgary or Edmonton office, with potential for remote work when not on-site.

What You’ll Bring

• Computer literacy.
• Proficiency in database management (SQL, Power BI, PowerQuery) is an asset; training will be provided.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, SharePoint, Excel, Access).
• Experience with turnover and completion processes.
• Knowledge of QA/QC processes and procedures.
• Familiarity with plant processes.
• Ability to read piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), single lines, isometrics.
• Effective communication of technical information.
• Working proficiency in English.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail.
