Raise is actively seeking an Application Administrator in Calgary, Alberta, to manage applications and coordinate with server, network, and database teams. You will ensure availability, security, and performance of IT environments while supporting business tools.
Responsibilities include deploying applications with Tomcat, Azure API, Kubernetes and other tech, maintaining capacity, and providing 24x7 on-call support. Prior DevOps and IT deployment experience are preferred.
Application Administrator
Raise is currently hiring a Application Administrator on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
The Application Administrator has overall accountability of the applications they support. This role interacts with other administrators (server, network, database) and project teams to ensure application availability and to maintain the technical environment, including software, security/access management, capacity management, monitoring and performance. This position also acts as the Tools Specialist responsible for the tools supporting the applications. This includes development of, configuration of, and knowledge of requirements management and other tools. The Application Administrator monitors and manages IT configuration items and verifies they work to the defined specifications.
An Application Administrator also provides support as analyst for business (internal and external) and IT teams bridging the gap between technology solutions and business functions.
