Job summary

Trail Appliances Ltd. in Edmonton is seeking an Appliance Service Technician Apprentice to gain hands-on experience with repairs and diagnostics while upholding exceptional service.

You will use manufacturers' manuals, communicate findings clearly to customers, and train with experienced technicians, with full-time hours Monday to Friday 7:30am–4:00pm.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Alberta Appliance Service Technician apprenticeship program
• Valid driver’s license required
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge
• Ability to lift and move heavy appliances

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate appliance repairs and diagnostics using manufacturers' manuals and bulletins.
• Communicate repair findings clearly to customers and report service concerns to management.
• Document repairs, damage, and parts usage accurately while ensuring proper authorization.
• Engage in training programs and support junior apprentices in their development.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain equipment and work areas

• Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy appliances while following safety protocols.

This is a full-time position and will require you to be available: Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm
