Job summary

Trail Appliances is seeking a Shop Laborer in Calgary to support the service team with shop tasks, inventory, and parts handling. You will participate in assembly, delivery preparation, and maintaining a clean workspace.

The role requires strong mechanical ability, teamwork, and the capacity to lift 75 pounds while adhering to safety standards. A valid Class 5 driver’s license is also needed for occasional duties.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical ability is essential.
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse team.
• Demonstrated urgency and safety awareness in a shop setting.
• Capable of maneuvering products over 75 pounds.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills; ability to pass a security check.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license (non-GDL) required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with shop work under supervision while learning service techniques.
• Handle materials in the shop and outdoors.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop.
• Assemble BBQs, install accessories, and adjust refrigerator doors.
• Prepare products for delivery or pickup.

Availability:

This is a full-time position and will require you to be available:

Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm

Compensation:

$18.00/hr
