Job summary

Vectaur Inc. is seeking a senior Appian Architect to define and drive the architectural vision for Appian solutions.

You will partner with business and IT leaders to shape the automation roadmap, lead end-to-end architecture, and ensure scalable, secure deployments across an enterprise landscape. The role requires hands-on Appian expertise, design leadership, and strong governance skills, with a focus on AI-enabled low-code integration and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT experience with a strong foundation in solution architecture and enterprise applications.
• Experience delivering large-scale, enterprise-grade Appian solutions.
• Appian Level2 & Level3 certifications are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate the architectural vision for Appian solutions that aligns with the broader digital and automation strategy of the organization.
• Serve as a strategic partner to business and IT leaders, shaping the automation roadmap in line with business objectives and innovation agendas.
• Provide architectural thought leadership across enterprise automation initiatives, identifying opportunities for platform reuse, AI integration, and operational efficiencies.
• Lead end-to-end solution architecture on the Appian platform, ensuring alignment with performance, scalability, and security standards.
• Translate complex business needs into intuitive Appian workflows and user experiences, bringing clarity to ambiguity.
• Guide architectural design reviews, solution feasibility assessments, and technology evaluations.
• Establish and promote best practices, Appian design standards, and governance frameworks across squads and delivery partners.
• Oversee the Appian delivery lifecycle: ideation, discovery, architecture through build, test, and scale.
• Mentor and build internal capabilities through a federated Appian practice.
• Drive continuous innovation by leveraging Appian's AI/ML capabilities, low-code features, and intelligent integrations.
• Collaborate with DevOps to define and implement CI/CD pipelines and quality gates tailored for Appian applications.
• Ensure all delivered solutions are compliant with enterprise security, privacy, and regulatory guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's orMaster's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, orrelated field.
• 8+ years ofoverall IT experience with a strong foundation in solutionarchitecture and enterprise applications.
• 5+ years ofhands-on experience in Appian BPM with proven success indelivering large-scale, enterprise-grade applications.
• Appian Level2 & Level 3 certifications (mandatory).
• Expertise indesigning advanced SAIL interfaces, process models, records,reports, and smart services.
• Strongknowledge of integration patterns, REST/SOAP APIs, andmiddleware.
• Experiencebuilding DevOps-enabled delivery pipelines (CI/CD, testautomation).
• Demonstratedability to lead cross-functional teams in Agile and scaledAgile environments.
• Excellentcommunication and stakeholder engagement skills, with anatural ability to influence at all levels.
