Boardwalk in Red Deer, AB is seeking an Apartment building maintenance worker. Two full-time permanent positions available. Expected duties include repairs across heating, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, plus coordination with contractors and minor appliance fixes.

Candidates must meet education and experience requirements and be able to lift heavy loads. Salary is $22.00 to $25.00 hourly for 40 hours per week, with day, overtime and on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English is required.
• Secondary (high) school diploma or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years of related industry experience.
• Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
• Reliable, organized and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor adjustments and repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Contact tradespeople and contractors for major repairs and maintenance.
• Conduct minor appliance repairs as needed.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies.
• Paint and drywall repairs and routine maintenance.
• Work with minimal supervision and handle snow and ice removal from walkways and parking lots.

• The candidate will be required to make minor adjustments and repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, as well as contact tradespeople for major repairs.
• The candidate will be required to contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
• The candidate will be expected to perform minor appliance repairs.
• The candidate will be required to move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
• The candidate will be required to perform other routine maintenance tasks such as painting and drywall repair.
• The candidate will be required to work with little supervision.
• The candidate will be expected to clear snow and ice from walkways and parking lots.

Job Requirements
