Job summary

Bwalk in Edmonton is seeking a dedicated cleaner to maintain the cleanliness of building entrances, offices, and common areas. The role includes cleaning vacant suites, waste management, and assisting with snow removal and minor touch-ups.

It requires a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license. The candidate should have at least 2 years of cleaning experience, strong customer service, and good time-management skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years cleaning experience required.
• Basic English (spoken and written) is required.
• Ability to spend long periods walking/standing and lifting.
• Own reliable vehicle and valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean building entrances, elevators, offices, halls, stairwells and common areas.
• Clean vacant suites and perform touch-ups as needed.
• Interior and exterior garbage pickup and waste disposal.
• Assist with snow removal and paint touch-ups as required.
• Ensure proper inventory management and equipment maintenance.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Clean building entrances, elevators, offices, halls, stairwells, laundry rooms, garbage rooms, amenity rooms, and other common areas
• Clean vacant suites and complete suite touch-ups
• Interior and exterior garbage pick-up
• Assist with snow removal and touch-up painting as required
• Ensure proper and accurate inventory management
• Ensure all equipment is working and being maintained properly
• Complete other tasks and assist other sites as required

Experience and Educational Requirements:

• 2 years cleaning experience required

Technical Requirements:

• Working knowledge of English both verbal and written
• Familiarity with technology is an asset

Non-Technical Requirements:

• Ability to spend up to eight hours walking, standing, climbing stairs, lifting
• Ability to maneuver up to 90kg with the proper equipment
• Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Excellent time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and with others in a team environment
• Demonstrates a positive attitude and enthusiasm
