Job summary

Interpro Pipe & Steel Inc. is seeking an experienced professional to support our Canadian Operations. You will lead the Transactional Services Team, overseeing daily monitoring of AR/AP and supervising the teams to ensure accurate invoicing and timely payments.

The role reports to the Director, Transactional Services and Credit, with responsibilities spanning team leadership, process improvements, and collaboration with internal stakeholders to meet financial controls and reporting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance/Business/Accounting preferred or equivalent combined experience in Accounting/AR/AP.
• Familiarity with general ledger.

Responsibilities

• Provide day to day management of the accounts payable and accounts receivable teams, motivating and leading the team.
• Ensure accurate and timely invoicing of customer sales, as well as processing and payment of vendor invoices.
• Assist in the escalation of vendor and invoicing inquiries.
• Assist in the investigation of payment, receiving and invoicing issues.
• Ensure the accounts payable and accounts receivable teams are replying to all queries in a timely manner and all queries are dealt with correctly and efficiently.
• Assist external auditors information as requested.
• Assist other team members to complete corporate projects/assignments.
• Identify and address training needs.
• Complete month end tasks including journal entries and reconciliations.
