Job summary

D2L, a cloud company in Kitchener, is seeking a Business Insights & Analytics Coordinator Co-op to join a team focused on actionable insights, automation, and operational excellence. You will work cross-functionally, leveraging AI, data and analytics to identify efficiency opportunities and reduce backlog.

You will gain hands-on experience with business intelligence tools, data analysis, and process improvement while collaborating across disciplines.

Qualifications

Continuous improvement mindset with experience in Agile teams.
Strong communication, collaboration, and data analytics skills.
Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, SQL and ETLs.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Ability to learn quickly, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Creative mindset and drive to automate/augment processes with automation and AI tools.
Experience collaborating with diverse teams to achieve common goals.
Familiarity with AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Copilot).

Responsibilities

Automation & Efficiency: Identify, design, and implement automation opportunities to streamline reporting and workflows.
Backlog Management: Analyze and help prioritize the team's backlog to reduce bottlenecks.
Business Insights: Deliver high-impact analytics to stakeholders using BI and AI tools.
Process Improvement: Review and optimize existing processes with cross-functional teams.
Sustainable Impact: Document solutions and share knowledge to sustain improvements.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven recommendations.
Learning & Innovation: Continuously learn new tools and apply creative problem solving.
