Job summary

Definity Financial Corporation invites applications for a Fall 2026 Co-op/Intern in Technology Solutions. The role blends technology and business collaboration across Waterloo, Ontario, and another Canadian location.

You will liaise with partners, manage intake via JIRA/ServiceNow, and contribute to strategic planning and executive presentations. We seek students with CS/Tech/Business background, familiarity with generative AI tools, and interest in Agile environments.

Qualifications

Pursuing or recent degree in CS/Tech/Business or related field
Familiar with generative AI tools and corporate capabilities
Experience in technology solution environments is a plus
Able to work in Agile/Scrum environments

Responsibilities

Collaborate with technology and business partners to define problem statements and objectives
Create and maintain intake requests in JIRA & ServiceNow
Support quarterly strategic planning and consolidate requests
Prepare updates for executive PowerPoint presentations
Chair meetings and distribute minutes to stakeholders
Organize Community of Practice lunches and learn sessions
Support scrum/agile ceremonies within Platform Engineering teams
Monitor dashboards and alert partners to issues affecting customers
Assist in quality engineering tasks as needed
Support release management and Confluence page maintenance
