Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH in Dorval is seeking a Program Analyst, Operations Focus for the Avionics PMO. You will drive a portfolio of business-critical projects, lead a cross-functional team, and ensure delivery within schedule and budget.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Procurement and Production, manage risks, report to senior management, and uphold Bombardier's BES and BM processes while mentoring teammates.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Five to ten years of relevant experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to influence stakeholders.
• Experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of aerospace testing and certification processes.
• Proactive, results-oriented with leadership capabilities.
• Proficient in MS Office, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint; database management.
• ERP systems experience; SAP is an asset.
• Bilingual French and English.

• Own development of strategies, schedules and budget for the project portfolio.
• Establish and track metrics; prepare status reports and adjust plans as needed.

• Collaborate with Methods, Logistics and Quality to support program activities.

• Support development of flight test and ground test rigs; manufacturing strategies for new products.

What are your contributions to the team?

The Program Management Office (PMO) for Avionics is seeking a highly motivated and results driven programs analyst to join its team. In this role, you will be responsible to drive a portfolio of business-critical projects to successful completion. The selected individual will lead a cross-functional team, including external suppliers, and oversee all aspects of the execution of their projects.

• Articulate the goals and objectives of the program, and how it will impact the business;
• Own the development and management of the strategies, schedules and budget of your project portfolio;
• Establish and track metrics to monitor performance and progress, prepare status reports and modify schedules and plans as required;
• Provide day-to-day leadership to cross-functional teams;
• Present project schedules, business cases and updates at regular reviews with senior management;
• Identify key project risk items, with corresponding risk mitigation or reduction strategies;
• Escalate to the appropriate level of management as needed;
• Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Operate within a high-level cross-functional environment, interacting with senior leadership and diverse teams, and play a key influencing role in driving strategic alignment among the functions involved in the program.
• Ensure compliance with the Bombardier Engineering System (BES) and the Bombardier Manual (BM) for all product support processes.
• Collaborate with the Methods, Logistics, and Quality teams to support program activities.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to multidisciplinary teams, including Engineering, Procurement, Planning, and Production.
• Support operational, logistics, and planning activities related to the development of flight test and ground test rigs.
• Support the development of manufacturing strategies for new products.

How to thrive in this role?

• You hold a university degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or an equivalent field;
• You have a minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years of relevant experience;
• You possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and are able to influence stakeholders at various levels of the organization;
• You have solid experience working in a production/manufacturing environment;
• You demonstrate initiative, are results-oriented, and have a strong desire to contribute to the success of Bombardier’s Program Management Office;
• You have strong knowledge of aerospace testing and certification processes;
• You are organized, self-motivated, and possess strong leadership skills;
• You are proficient in MS Office, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint, with knowledge of database management;
• You have experience using and understanding ERP systems (SAP is considered an asset);
• You are bilingual (French and English) and demonstrate strong communication skills.
